I've used Linux for the last 9 years and I got used to so many free (as in beer) programs that I don't want to miss them anymore, even after my desktop migration from Linux & BSD to Mac OS X/Darwin.

| Update Menu List | 6:52 AM, Sep 14 2008 |
Hi, this morning I've updated the menu. I've added two new menu sections: Mac OS X and MacBoorPro. So that all articles which are related to OS X or MacBookPro don't end up in the MacBook Section. Therefore you find the two articles claw-mail and kdevelop in the OS X section and the article about dragonfly in the MacBookPro Section now. I hope I didn't break any links, but if you find a broke link, just leave a comment. Bye, Mips Read More |

| New Laptop ... new stories | 5:10 PM, Aug 05 2008 |
Even though I had a lot of trouble wih my old, black Macbook, I’ve decided to get a new Mac and this time I got a MacbookPro, because I want to have enough power for all my daily task in one computer/laptop and not alway have one pc which is a number cruncher and a mobile laptop for writing and work while I am travlinng. The MacbookPro ist he prefect choice for me. It’ ssolid, long enough battery life and a small number cruncher. Perfect to run not only vm while doing some heavy work. That’s why I am writing articles about OS X and my MacbookPro again. |

| Draco Linux Desktop 0.3 VMWare Image | 11:49 AM, Jun 27 2008 |
I don't know if you have ever heard about Draco Linux. It is a linux distribution which uses pkgsrc. So if you use *BSD a lot, you will feel a lot more comfortable using this distribution. The distribution doesn't have livecd (yet), therefore I have created a vmware image, based on draco desktop 0.3, for whoever want to test draco. |
